KATY JAZZ FESTIVAL 2017 Flyer

We have experienced many students who participate with their school groups to go on and do great things in music either performing, writing or teaching. Some have even received university scholarship offers while at the Katy Jazz Festival.

Each year the Katy Jazz Festival organizers offer local schools the opportunity to register to participate in their upcoming festival. KJF is education-based and known for promoting and preserving the pure essence of jazz history, not only to the general public, but affording the opportunity for students to attend master classes taught by professional jazz musicians that are established in the industry who tour the world sharing their artistry. The Katy Jazz Festival ignites the musical potential in young students by offering their schools jazz ensembles a chance to perform on the campus of a major jazz festival. The participating school groups are selected pertaining to their date of registration for the festival.
