Enforce rules equally
Re: “OCC student who recorded instructor is suspended” [News, Feb. 15]: So, if I’ve got this right, a student broke a rule and is penalized. Therefore, one would assume that the teacher, caught red-handed breaking a rule, would also be penalized. Has this happened? The school should be penalized for doing nothing regarding the teacher’s actions when being notified with evidence. Sounds like college is one of the reasons this country is having such difficult times — no one cares about the rules.
