The fresh-faced 13-year-old Elle Fanning took the world by storm in 2011 and quickly became famous as both an actress and a fashion icon. Beside modelling for Marc Jacobs and appearing in W magazine with her older sister, Dakota, the starlet also graces the February 2012 cover of Teen Vogue. Being photographed by Sebastian Kim, Elle Fanning follows the footsteps of older sister Dakota who covered the magazine back in December/January 2010.

In the interview with magazine, the “Super 8” star talks about every girl’s favorite topic – it is shoes. She prefers to wear penny loafers and always puts real pennies in them. About her crush on Ryan Gosling, Elle emphasizes, “Me and my friends saw Crazy, Stupid, Love, and we were freaking out. Everyone falls in love with him after that”. Ellen also showed respect to her sister, “I remember the first time Dakota asked me for fashion advice about what to put with what. I was like, My big sister is asking me?”.

When being asked about her acting career while in school, the star said, “Some people do piano lessons after school; I do movies”. The star also shared, “I always feel like they’re just a name—like they’re not real at first. Then once you get to know them, you’re like, That’s Scarlett and Matt! It’s not, like, Matt Damon”

Dakota Fanning proudly told about her little sister to the magazine, “She’s the go-to fashion person in the family. Elle knows every single model, every single collection, every single piece from every single collection. She genuinely appreciates the workmanship and creativity”
